mckenziecalhoun - if they are labeled terrorists, the patriot act says that they can be locked up for the rest of their life without ever seeing an attorney or even a judge. They could be executed legally. They could be tortured.

Get the picture?

The NAU is being created the same way that the EU was. The people who tried to warn others about it in the UK were called conspiracy theorists, just like here. The SPP was signed in 2005, and supposed to go into effect in 2010.

Therer will NOT be an NAU. Nobody wants it, only a few people are halucinating about it.

What nonsense (not you, the idea that someone is a terrorist for trying to get the EU jump-started again). Of course, it isn't tyranny to accuse them of it, just silly.

We win either way. If the EU gets more powerful, we get a stronger ally. If they don't, we have a better edge in competition. We've never shied from competition (Heck, that IS America!), so I wish them well, but I understand the concern over member state control/power. We went through a similar fight ourselves (Civil War). Hopefully they can get it solved from the start!

Over my dead body would there be a NAU. We don't want to be like Europe. And I'd die protecting the soverignty of this nation. God forbid that I'd want to live like peasants in servitude to the government like they do in European countries.
