TOO FRICKEN LONG!! Why does that hurt so bad anyways? :-)

The reason it probably hasn't healed is because you have probably bitten it a million times by now.

Try gargling with salt water....or LISTERINE. It will hurt but that stuff kills all of the bad bacteria in your mouth. ALSO try eating cold stuff.....ice, slurpie, snow cone.

IT may sound silly but it will make the swelling go down and maybe it won't be so irritated. Then it will give your mouth an opportunity to heal.

Good luck!

Using a Qtip, dab some peroxide on the bite several times a day. Or if you choose to spend a bit of money, buy Gly-Oxide and use as directed.

wow a week huh? i would of thought a couple of days. the mouth heals pretty quickly. you could try using salt water (room temp, cup of water with a teaspoon or 2 of salt) and swish it around in your mouth for a couple minutes and then spit it out. you could try the same with a mouthwash. it should help to kill the bacteria that is causing you problems, otherwise...see a Dr. or Dentist to get help. good luck to you.

usually isn'y more than a day or two. maybe you could try rinsing w/ warm salt water or any kind of mouthwash like skope or listerine, to help kill germs and make healing quiker. I am not sure how warm salt water helps but try it because it has always helped me
