I'm a huge Phillies fan and have been for over 30 years, and yes getting close to 1st place and not "stepping up to the plate" is getting old. Watched both games today and I don't know what the problem is with this team. This team has talent, something's missing. I'm not a big fan (never was) of Charlie Manual, but can't blame him, he's not on the field....
BTW - I'm a Cowboys fan, so kind of hate the Eagles

Boy, that's a fast jump off the bandwagon.
And, it gives no credit to the Mets. That choking rhetoric sounds like talk-radio thinking.
It's a long season, and Phils have plenty of time to be heard from.

as a nats fan I would love to see phillie do better at the expense of the mets,make the mets have to work to win the division

don't encourage the negative karma. we are only 3-4 games back and the all-star break has not yet arrived. our bullpen will heal and myers will settle into the role he has born for. we need a corner outfielder and(or) a third baseman. gillick will fill one of those holes (former gillick player kg jr?)
