It depends, if you are yelling Hey to someone...or if you are yelling in an argument, the baby can sense the emotional state of its mother...Stress is really bad for the baby, and can actually cause low birth weight and more fussy babies...I had to read about this because I have had a really stressful pregnancy...so now I just try and let everything fly.

I have to yell at my husband if he's in the kitchen. Not because I'm mad, but because our house is weird & doesn't just let us talk a room apart. I'm fairly sure the baby is use to this by now. I'm sure it's not going to cause any damage, I've never seen, heard or read anything about the dangers of yelling while pregnant.

You go through so many hormones up and down that I can see a girl yelling as far as being bad I just imagine who ever is getting yelled at isn't happy about it.

No, I taught fifth grade during my first pregnancy and the poor studentsnot only had to deal with my pregnancy stuff but it was my first year teaching as well so you can imagine what the kids endured....however, my child is a very happy and content person...she brings joy and comfort to all those around.....in the 9 months shes been here shes only been sick once and only fusses when extremly tired or not feeling well.....

it's not bad for your health or the baby but it could startle them. I started to jokingly yell at my husband once and my baby started to kick really hard. Like, "Hey, I'm trying to sleep!"
If your going to yell eat a little dark chocolate everyday. Studies show moms who at a little chocolate everyday had happier babies. I'm taking a few Hershey Kisses not a binge. I tried it and I had two laid back babies that smile a lot. Plus, it lowers blood pressure you might be raising from yelling.
