I have seen turtles crossing the road. I believe they cross the road when the chicken is on vacation.

Often!!! And EVERY time I see one trying to make it, I pull over & carry it across. It's a "joke" for the chicken...-but for the turtle, -it's not funny.

Yes. In fact, I helped three of them this spring. All of them were huge, about the size of an American football, and I got them out of the road so they wouldn't get squished.

actually i did the other day but on my way home i saw it squished my kids were with me they were sad they thought we should have brought it home
