I live in San Antonio, Texas and say this: Bush shouldn't care if they should go back to mexico or stay in Texas!

It's that 'amnesty' thing that killed it. All they had to do is to delete that part to get it passed. But I guess that's not how things work. I don't know all the details, but just ton of people called their representatives, senators yelling about 'amnesty'. And partly due to conservative radio shows emphasizing the bill is amnesty for illegal immigrants.

It wasn't just amnesty that bothered me, it was the provision for the SPP. I knew there was something hidden in there.

Doesn't matter, fortunately it's dead now until at least 2009.
