why do certain people in this place say mean racist things?

People shouldn't discriminate against entire cultures or races, but rather individuals. If a person does something bad or is mean or a bully, then yes I might dislike the person or call that specific individual an idiot or jerk. That does not mean that their whole culture is bad or that the person represents everyone in their culture. In every culture you can meet super, intelligent, attractive and kind people, as well as real idiots and jacka**es.

Some people, in their insecurity, or feeble attempts to sound funny or intelligent believe that berating others puts them higher on the pedestal.

I agree with Mike t and lynn. Overall I tell my friend I hate people. Its because people can be stupid, clingy, self absorbed, racist, narsisistic, *** holes, judgmental (if that is the right world), obsessive, naive, etc. there are people in this world who need the internet to hide behind, because they cant get ahead in real life, they need to put someone else down. All you need to do is sit back. Its hard, but it is exactly what they dont want you to do, so do just that. and sometimes people are just sorry stupid sob's just cause and they will be treated in return 10 times as hard. He needs to go to church. people can say those things cause they have no reason in themselves not to.

Wake up and see the sad truth. Races are more comfortable with their own races. Are you gonna tell me that you feel more comfortable around someone different than the same? Gimme a break.....

Well to answer your question, people say horrible things, b/c they do. They just do.....and the only way to change it is to say mean things back, the sad truth, but welcome to reality bud :)
Theres no way to change a human being, now one thing you can do is try to change how people act toward other people. But truthfully, people dont change. You feel one way forever, sometimes people decide to grow up though. So basically theres no such thing as changing, but theres growing up, moving on, and learning to live in society, w/e gets you through. Im not trying to say like its all wrong, it is. Im christian, and in the bible it cleary states that you cant judge people on race. But I do think you can judge people by the way they act and treat people.

Idk if you catch my drift, its just reality, and we're stuck with it. Diversity is a tough thing to live with nowadays, do deal with it and stop complaining is all I can say.

cuz theyre ignorant and have no lives and nothin better 2 do, so they harass others 2 get a laugh...they r truly disgusting..u know that Skinhead Charlie guy...oh my god when i read his stuff i actually started crying, and felt really sick, i reported him alot....howcome yahoo deletes sum question that arent even bad really and they remove them...and they wouldnt delete or remove Skinheads or Smittys' or any other ppls disguuuusssttttnig hooorrriible things? why doesnt yahoo delete theirs? alot of those people are just plain mean. something is clearly wrong with them and it needs to stop! I wish people weren't like that, it's do rude. I don't understand it myself really but they have no business being on Y!A if they have problems.
Some people just take out their stupid problems on others to make them feel better and that just sickens me! Don't listen to what they have to say, they are complete jerks who can't suck up to their own issues. If anything at all, I wish Y!A didn't allow so many people on here if they are gonna use curse words and what not. But like I said, do NOT listen to them okay? Because people are that way... sick, mean, thoughtless, cold, stupid and heartless. It amuses them when they think they can hurt someone by making a nasty comment. Perhaps they think they're clever. Try not to take their ignorance to heart... there are many wonderful people here who are the complete opposite :)

people say that stuff because they are bored with their own dull lives. they are so dumb they have nothing else better to do except insult innocent people, that are waay better than the person saying the insults. i am sorry but it is the truth, and it is why i never say mean things. i hope this helps you!
