Just a glitch friend.
Our eyes are high resolution at the very center but go low rez very quickly as you move out. If the data from our webcam eyeball went directly to our mental monitor, there would be a clear area the size of a dime in the center of the screen and maybe one pixel in a thousand working everywhere else. Our brains rescue us from this deficiency by filling in the blanks, we are tricked into believing it’s all high rez.
Sometimes the brain interprets the low rez data as a person and posts a ‘shadowy figure’ to the monitor. You go “What the Hell is that!?” and look over. This gives the brain high rez data, it corrects the image, and you are left with the impression that the shadowy figure has disappeared.
Of course this implies we are twitchy and fallible so you might want to stick with the “you can only see ghosts from the corner of your eye” explanation. :-0

It happens to me almost everyday mostly at night, especially here where I use my computer. Mine's a human-like figure, and sometimes, just a black figure. Though I know why, I still don't bother knowing more about it lol. I just try to ignore it as much as possible because the more I pay attention to it, the more paranoid I become. Ive come to accept it as part of my life. As if I have a choice, lol.

It grew to become out to be my hair in my eyes, yet i replaced into confident it replaced into some thing greater severe as quickly as I glimpsed some thing black crawling around the ceiling. i could turn my head as much as seem at it, and it may be long previous. I freaked out and screamed after some circumstances, and felt rather stupid while my mom advised me to hold my bangs back and spot if it takes place returned, it did not.

The Thrimwhicket Bandeursnatch ... the guy that makes sure your Toast falls Butter-side down when it goes to the floor, or that it rains just after you wash your car ... or that the first time you come face to face with the girl of your dreams, you fart so loudly everyone can hear you in the hallway .......

i always thought that when you see somethign in the corner of your eye it's because the eye is not focused in that direction and things can become generic shapes that could resemble many things

our brains are pre-programmed to assimilate forms and things that we recognize. if you put a bunch of words together with missing letters in them your brain automatically puts them together. Harvrd did a stdy on it....SEE?
so when you get those particles in your eyes your brain is piecing them together to form figures that might normally appear.
but who knows, they might be demons

It's a floater. Little loose particles in the vitreous fluid of the eye.

I think what you're seeing are "floaters" in your eyes. Little pieces of matter in the eye fluid sometimes get in the line of vision and make you think that you saw something you didn't.
