Yes I have.

I was even tailed once for over a week.

Of course, I was completely clueless, and I was ruled out of the investigation in due course, but it was scary at the time.

Hell, if nobody's gonna tell the truth, I will!! When I was a teenager, a girl dumped me. I conned a friend of mine into taking some gasoline into their house, and burning it down. (We called on the phone several times to make sure no one was home.) I was too chicken to go do the deed, so I made my friend go down and pour the gas all over, and light it while I waited in the woods. There were dogs barking, and after about 30 minutes, I hear a gunshot. I was scared out of my mind, and ran as fast as I could. (Leaving my friend to take the heat.) He narced on me, and the cops pulled me over, took me into custody, and questioned me. I admitted everything. Because the reason that we were going to burn the house down was the fact that we found out that my "girlfriend" and her father were having an incestuous relationship, and this was the early '60's, when such was not even mentioned, we were let go until they could talk to the family. The girl admitted everything!!! Since they had never had a case like this in the small town I grew up in, and they didn't know what to do with us, they let us go. I guess they thought being scared out of our wits was punishment enough. It was. I've been an exemplary citizen ever since.

Yes, I have been questioned by the police regarding things I have witnessed. Once it was a car accident, and another time it was a robbery. I was never considered a suspect for anything.

Prime suspect. Me and a few buddies were wandering around a state park at night. Our car was parked a walking distance of a half hour away. We fooled around there, then got out of the park. The cops stopped us on the road (around 1:20 AM) and eventually offered us a ride to our car (we had a good alibi) However, then they asked us to take all the crap out of our pockets so we could be padded down. My buddy had a lockpick set on him. My other buddy had a knife on him. I had the flashlights.

Then the cop told us there had been 12 burglaries in the past 4 days.

He took down EVERY SINGLE BIT of information he could about us, and then the next day we were called down to the station, since another burglary happened that night. But it was okay--they took prints from us, which eliminated us from the scene.

I was stopped by the police in Hong Kong once and put in a little room all by myself for about 15 minutes. Then they came in, gave me my passport and ID, and told me to go. They're Communists there.......that was some scary stuff!!
