Looking at a few different areas to move to... I'm 24 and just looking for a change and was interested in what living is like in Pismo Beach.. Just curious on what the area is like? Where would be the best place to live around there? Whats the pros and cons of the area... Basically any info you have.. Thanks :)

Esthetically, it's very beautiful: near the beach, nice stores and restaurants, etc... It is not a very racially diverse area, so you will find that many of the people can be very narrow-minded in their thinking. I actually think that San Luis Obispo would be a better area, it's a college town, much more diverse, more free thinkers.

hi, I lived near there about 7 yrs ago for about 3 yrs. It's a nice small beach community. It's pricey just like everywhere in Ca. San Luis Obisbo is a nice area also. A college town/laid back but a little yuppyish( I went there a lot. many shops) Santa Maria is near there also. More people from all economic and ethnic back grounds.
