No, that is absolutely incorrect. Studies have shown, over and over, done in universities, that those who are most popular are extremely good liars. These people are also extremely good actors, they can be different for different people always shifting from persona to persona as they condition warrants. This is not conducive to good husband material.

I know that "party animals" are also popular. They are "fun" to be around and often make fun of others. These people are very subtle in this, not extreme in it so it is not as obvious as a bully. They are irrelevant, boastful, and often slyly cruel. They are not able to truly commit to any one person and crave attention. They have a need to be in the spotlight and this makes them selfish. They often become angry and compete for this attention, and can be very brutal in attaining and keeping that spotlight shinning on themselves.

Selfish individuals such as these do not make good husbands. They always are in competition with their spouses and in doing so are unable to truly meet anyones' needs but their own. The best spouses are those who put their spouses first. When each spouse puts the other's needs first, each gets their needs met without having to ask, beg, or do so themselves. It is equitable, and simple, but those who are selfish, and crave the spotlight are unable to be selfless enough to do this, it is foreign to them, and difficult to fathom or understand the need let alone do so.

So, without going on much more, I simply do not believe that so called "party animals" make good husbands. They do not learn how to cope with others, others learn to cope with them. They are often very shallow, yet the best party animal is usually very clever at hiding this. Sadly, it shows itself quickly under the intimacy of a close relationship. I have met many of these people over the course of my life and lived to regret their personality issues.

Thanks for another great question, I really enjoy them very much. You come up with the best questions! Where do you find all of these? lol Have a great day!

I am not sure what the reporting agency was using for their defination as a party animal, but I feel that one doesn't have to be a "party animal" to be a great husband. It is what that is inside that person's heart and soul that makes that person a good husband, not their ability to party and handle different types of people. Handling different types of people, situations, etc., comes from maturity, experience and the ability to get along well with others. It is the ability to give and take, which is pretty much what marriage is about. The word party animal should not even be a consideration when thinking about marriage, at least in may opinion. Once again, Maddie, you have come up with a good question to make us all really think about things. Good job!!

i dont think so, because they will always be off partying instead of being a good husband. It wouldnt be the kind of marriage that lasted. i've seen it before... and anyone can learn people skills; it's not that hard.
