Do you believe in ghosts?

Why do you believe in them, have you had an encounter before?

In fact I have lived with them many times before, nothing bad, like scary poltergiests or anything.

Spirits are really left over energy just trying to communicate with us. I don't see them persay, but you sense them, or in one house hear them. It was a father that would walk up and down the hall stopping outside each bedroom door that used to house his children. a little creepy at first but you get used to it.

To know if they exist, pets pick them up easily. Also electricial stuff can go awry. Most aren't harmful so don't be afraid.

There are many classes of ghost. Lowest is the Phantasm. A Phantasm is sort of like a tape recording. All it does is play out one moment of history over and over again. They don't interact with people, and they won't hurt you. Next up is the Vapor. A Vapor has no form or substance. Mostly percieved as glowing orbs, cold spots, unexplanable drafts or odd sounds. They are capable of percieving humans, but are incapable of interacting in any meaningfull way. One more step up the food chain is a Ghost. Ghosts will generaly manifest as a vaugely human figure, sometimes capable of producing sounds, sometimes not. Ghosts are generaly not harmfull, but are bound to earth by some uncompleted task. Most of their interaction is aimed at getting help to complete it so they can move on. A Spirit is one more level up. A Spirit is capable of extensive interaction with humans, and is also capable of small feats of telekenisis. They are not bound to any one place, and can move around interacting with those gifted enough to percieve them. Some are nice, others are not. Poltergeists are the next level up. A Poltergeist is capable of telekenisis on a large scale. They are generally nasty, thriving off of the fear that they generate, though on occasion they are just playfull, however, some start off nice and get nasty. Anybody can percieve the activities of Poltergeists, and they can be quite powerfull. Last and certianly not least is the Entity. These beings are vastly powerfull, and are capable of extensive manifestations of a variety of phenomina. If you are confronted with an Entity, unless you have extensive training in the arcane arts, seek help. Only a powerfull Necromancer, Mage or Sorcerer should attempt to tackle one of these beings.

Can I ask do you believe in yourself as you have a spirit which one day will be a ghost are you hoping people will believe in you ?

A Ghost is a Spirit which is a Soul the Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body.

It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.

Some people don't pass over because of unfinished business
Or they just don't know they have died
Or they didn't know to go to the light
This is what people call a Ghost
I call Spirit some call Lost Souls

Nothing in life is to be feared, It is only to be understood.

I believe in ghosts because I had an encounter with one. I lived in this old house from the civil war and that's where it all started. I was young at the time but I remember seeing a figure walking around my room. I would hear noises that weren't from the pipes or creaky floors. I moved out of there and now I live in a new house, but I kept having recurring dreams of a man who had a rope around his neck and a sad look on his face. I didn't know who he was, but he always wanted me to help him. After I moved out, I found out that the previous owner hung himself in a garden shed in my back yard! The shed was no longer there when I moved in, but there was still the dirt floor from where it once was and I put my garden there! Sadly, all the flowers I planted in that area never survived.

My mother told me her recent experience. She was washing cloths at our neighbors house while he was at a family reunion. The man is around 76 years old with a wife who died in her bed room. She went inside to get his cloths and outside to wash cloths (washing machine was outside). When she went inside, the door was lock. She had to go through the back door.

My grandmother went to her Aunt house and recalled several occasions where they heard door slamming in the basement and random pipe problems.

Another experience is that the light would be on in the dead wife room while our Neighbor was at the family reunion.

My brother saw a ghostly figure with blouse within seconds it disappeared.

I recorded several EVP (for more info consult video) of my deceased grandfather during New Years. Just 5 seconds of "Out". Not much.

My mother drove by an abandon house and saw a ghost of a little girl. I did not believe her in this one.

I myself never visually seen a ghost. Someday I want to. I almost used an Ouija Board but thankfully yahoo answers saved me by warning me the dangers.

Yes I do believe in them and yes I have seen a few...Mainly when I was living in New Englad...but I have encountered one here at my home...He is outside my home and I see him time to time walking around the house...I am not sure if he is protecting me or if he is trying to get in.....for now it is fine.

Yes. Because there's other dimension and the soul survive after death. But I haven't encounter one yet.

I believe that ghosts are merely spirits. They are the wandering souls of either the lost or unborn.

Do you have a soul? of course, therefore you have a spirit.

When you are gone from your physical form it is this spirit that will wander until you are born again.

yes i believe in ghosts and ive seen many, i like to research in this sort of paranormal activity, there is way more to this word than what meets the eye...people are energy with a body and when we die our energy doesnt die...energy never dies so where does it go...people will never be able to prove it because we cannt yet see this part of our beings cause they arent no longer physical but spiritual
