I dont have $ not even for pictures, rings, yearbooks, or to go to the prom!!! But i dont think that matters to me, as long as I get into a college. Im majoring into Illustration. I want you to celebrate your accomplishments. Let's say no money comes your way for the things that years ahead will not matter, prom etc. As far as college, there is financial aid, scholarships. Though I do not know you a big thumbs up for having Math and Science behind you. Could you earn some money in some way to at least get a few pictures? So many kids drop out of school these days. Be proud of yourself!!!

Enjoy your senior year. That time will never come again. Don't be nervous in applying for college. Don't worry about money, that's what student loans and scholarships are for. You don't need senior pictures. That's like throwing money away. Sure it's cool to exchange pictures, but that's like throwing money away. I could see wanting to get a yearbook, but it's not necessary. The prom? That's money that is spent for a couple hours of a day. Unless, you have a date that you have deep feelings for, it's an over hyped event. You'll probably never wear the dress again.

I never bought a class ring and I'm glad I didn't. Wearing a class ring in later life just doesn't seem real. I didn't spend money for pictures or the prom. I saved my money for life after high school. Trust me, I needed every penny. You are going to college, save your money. You're gonna need it.

Senior year is usually a lot of fun. I was a lit/v.arts major in college... I would suggest spending some of your senior year exploring your talent and building a portfolio (colleges love to see dedication). College apps can be rough you have to do so many drafts, so the earlier you start, the better. And once you make it to college, there is financial aid, grants and loans you can take out to help you pay, some even take care of books and help you get a job. College is a lot of fun, especially the first year, but never forget why you are there, the harder you work, the better you'll feel about yourself.

Start the year off hitting the ground running. Meaning, get good grades from the beginning to the end. You have plenty of time to work and save money for prom so start asap so that you can have the best prom experience. And attend all the sports games, dances, and school events that you can. This is your senior year so have fun with your friends and make some great memories.

You can get a summer job and save your money so that you can participate in senior events.Your senior year is kind of costly, but it is fun 2 participate in those things so you can have memories. Just be yourself and remember to enjoy your senior year because it will fly by so quick. I just graduated this past May and I can't believe I'm actually finished. It was exciting to actually graduate, but if I could turn back the hands of time I would enjoy it so much more. Remember when applying for colleges don't procrastinate because the time flies. Take all of your tests early on so everything will be in perspective. Apply for all of the scholarships that you possibly can. You will surely get one of them. And if you're in Georgia you could qualify for the HOPE scholarship if you have a 3.0 GPA. Good luck!

Those materials mentioned don't matter if you really have financial problems. What matters id you get to college. On your first year, you may want to become a working student because in the incoming years, it'll be difficult to earn school fees. My sister didn't attend the prom because the fee was expensive, out of reach he-he... You can do that, just have the will to finish your studies, strive further, because you'll encounter more difficulties in college life, and always pray hard. It works.

I'm going to be a senior too!
Go to http://scholarships.com and sign up to see what scholarships apply to you.
Like in Florida and we have bright futures, and that can pay for up to 100% college tuition.
Look around for a job so you can have money for your yearbook and prom! I know I'd be sad if I looked back and didn't get to go to my senior prom!

school is easy. as a matter of fact your 11th and 12th grade years seem to be the easiest and they go by really quick. so no worries. just lay back and enjoy the ride and everything will be a-ok. AP classes arent hard those are a breeze as well.
