McKenzie. You are correct, nothing has changed. Except for the fact our history classes have failed to teach about the divisiveness that has traditionally been existent in this country.

Matthew 12:25 says

"Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand".

Sam Houston said it...Abe Lincoln said it....and it is true today....Divided we will fall....

Works for me. The cash-cow Blue states can then keep their revenue and invest it in Americans. The Red states can go bankrupt while contemplating what country is evil and where to purchase there next firearm. Maybe the Red states can have no-taxes and re-segregate their schools as well. I envision every red state filled with casinos in an attempt to find some revenue.

Well we already tried that once...it was called the civil war...didn't turn out too great...I think the current system is pretty good because all the crazy reds and crazy blues balance each other out and make things tolerable for us norms in the middle

You cant do that because their exist huge onclaves of red in blue states and huge onclaves of blue in red states. Funny how the Republicans were given the red state moniker when we all know democrats are more red (communist) than republicans

Nope. Sorry, sedition is not for me.

If you ask my fellow patriots, democrat or republican, they'll say the same thing.

So will anyone who has ever studied our political history and heard this same nonsense repeated every election cycle from SOMEONE, AGAIN, OVER AND OVER!

Silly.

Let's just kick all the reds and blues out of office, and elect someone who is about serving the people, and not the money?

I guess I've missed this one as a viable solution to our dividedness...

I think I will just go on missing this one and try to fight for free speech. For everyone.

And would someone please tell me which time in the history of the US there haven't been two parties?

You could split it in two, give the cities to the gainfully employed, and the country back to the indians
