depends. if the phsysical scar is like the loss of an arm or an eye then that can be worse than some emotional scars. and things like a loved one dieing or finding out that your partner has been cheating on you can be more serious than say a little cut or bruise. and emotional scars can lead to things like schizophrenia, phobias and depression.

Yes, for me they do. Actually for me, emotional scars are even more painful than any physical pain. I'm still trying to work past all of that.
