go against what my older sister says. ok so i'm 2 years younger than her but sometimes i feel like she's treating me like a baby. So me and her ex-boyfriend (who's only about a year older than me) started flirting like crazy recently, but when i told her i liked him she told me to stay away from him, he's trouble. could she possibly still like him and just not want me to be happy? please help me... thnx

Your sister may be right when she tells you her ex-boyfriend is trouble. You should set down and have a long talk with her and see what the problems are. He may be on drugs, in trouble with the law or something else, if he is on drugs he could make your life miserable so I think you should listen to what she has to say before making any rational decisions.

It could go both ways. She could be jealous that he now likes you, or she could be serious about the fact that he is bad news. I really can't tell you much more not knowing the guy, but you should sit down with your sister and ask her why the guy is trouble and if she doesn't have a legite answer, then she just may be jealous.

Well, It is generally wrong to date a friend or sisters ex...
If she said stay away I would probley stay away.
Because even if she does like him still and just doesnt want you to be with him...
She is not really being selfish...
She just doesn't want to be hurt and I'm sure that would hurt her. Ya know.
You kidna gotta think of her feelings too.
I would talk to her about it and tell her that you really like him.
If she says he is trouble ask why.
If the reasoning is good don't go with him.
If she admits she still likes him and misses him ect I also wouldn't do it because...
First off- she lives with you... she can make your like heck!
Secound off- You would hurt her
Thrid off- Chicks before d!cks ALWAYS
Fourth off- She is your SISTER he is just a boy...!

I think it would be out of respect of your sister that you didn't date her x-boyfriend. I am sure that your sister does think that he is bad news, otherwise she would still be with him. I would really just stay away from him, that's probably more drama than you want need to deal with. Is he really worth it? It would be sad if you went against your sisters wishes and ruined your friendship, just to get with some guy. Especially if it didn't work out. Whatever you do, good luck!

well I would say think about their relationship, was he good to her did she talk about it with you. Honestly I think she maybe tellin you this outta pure love. Try to talk to her about it ask if she does have feelings. Most important is it worth hurtin your sister over? You know the answer or you would not be asking!!...Stay away he may be using you to get back at her as well.. becareful if you choose to go forward you may not like the end result.

out of the trillians of people on this planet, I'm sure you can find someone your sister hasn't dated, save yourself the headache and don't cause waves.
For me I couldn't touch a woman my brother already was with.
Another note, it would be great revenge for a guy to be with the sister of a girl who dumped him. So be warned, he might be playing games.

She could like him but he is an ex for a reason . I think it is bad taste to date your sister or close friends ex-bf's. It could damage your relationship with your sis.
