I know my question didn't make sense, but I meant to ask...
When filling out college applications, do you put down your highest or most recent GPA & class rank?

I think you need to reread your question then ask again otherwise the answer is going to be the most recent one.

Since the options you give are the same (the most recent or the most recent?), I'm assuming you mean something else. What you include is your current GPA and class rank - those based upon the last official grading period before you apply for college. You can't put down what you hope or expect you GPA to be, or anything based upon unofficial mid-semester grades.

You don't 'fess up to any of this.

Your high school sends the university a copy of your high school transcript, and that's where your gpa and class rank are displayed. You have to give permission to your high school to send this informatioin to the university.

You need to submit your accumulative GPA which would be your latest one, and as for class rank I'm really not sure you might have to write it down it depends.
