TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION
If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined.
Two Clubs
1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
5. Strength of victory.
6. Strength of schedule.
7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
9. Best net points in common games.
10. Best net points in all games.
11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
Three or More Clubs
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format).
1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs).

It would probably never happen but there are about 10 or 11 tiebreakers tha would be used to determine the division champs and wild card teams. After that it would follow regular playoff criteria. If you want to know more go to nfl.com.

Speaking hypothetically, Pete Rozell would be smiling from above but for playoffs sake, it might come down to a few coin tosses.

it will never happen! The closest it would be is like last year one team (green bay I think,)need to lose their last game, another team to lose, and a 3rd team to win team to win so that there would be a 3 team tye, and they could go to the play-offs(of coarse if they won and the 2nd team lost they were in) they would lose to the 2nd team because they had lost to them earlier in the year, but in a 3 way tie, they would win because the 2nd teams win over them wouldnt come in to play.

Division and WC spots would be determined by head-to-head, divisional and conference record tiebreakers.
However, there's more of a chance of the Lions winning the superbowl than this ever happening...

IF it happens then it goes toward how many points were let up, and then how many points your team scored. But if they are all the same then its a coin flip

As if THAT'S ever going to happen.
Oakland, Detroit winning 8 games? COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!
It would just give whoever does the tiebreakers a MAJOR headache.
