Lies are lies whether they be ''white'' or ''black''.....
Lies no matter how small will still be lies.
Being lied to is the worst thing in my life!!
With regards to my own country and its people, well, I wonder if ever truth lies in all matters (pun intended truthfully).
Truth can be painful but at least we are not lied to...
All lies would eventually be known.....sooner or later.
Yes, I prefer the painful truth because I don't want to be lied to!!

Regarding my country and its people, I prefer truth, however painful. But I don't assume it is going to be painful in all cases. I'm an American, and I am aware there is both good and bad about my country. But we are basically good people, in my completely unbiased opinion. Our politicians are not so hot, but it takes a bizarre personality to want to go into politics, so . . . The structure (Constitution) is pretty good, though.
Regarding my personal matters, white lies are often preferable. Things like "Would it be too much trouble to give me a ride home?"

it would be a lie if i say i prefer white lies. i can't stand people lying to me and no one should lie to make me happy.. hey if the truth gonna hurt but makes me a better person, so why not and if you prefer people lie to you so that you will feel better doesn't that means you are hiding from the truth then

Painfully truth of course...ha ha for some of you here being regular in the YA Travel Malaysia, there are some there just could not except answerer's painfully truth answer that they turned around and said you do not answer their question and being sarcastic!
Maybe I should be a hiprocrite then!

I prefer the truth in all situations. I'm a big boy...I can take it as well as give it. It may be painful but to me, it's necessary.

You can't keep a secret forever! I hate being lied to, I would rather hear the truth, even if it will hurt me. At least they have some balls for admitting what they did.
