be closed. I have a toshiba satellite laptop that runs on windows xp. The error occurred while I was transferring mp3 files from my hard drive to a usb drive. I googled the Dr. Watson thing but couldn't find a good answer. Is this a serious problem? If so, what should I do? Thanks.

No, its probably not a virus.

This is a commonly used program that comes standard with windows. It is referred to by any program that has a problem and shuts down or crashes. Even windows uses it sometimes. As long as it doesn't keep shutting down, your computer is most likely virus free. But hey, if you're still worried or just for good measure run a virus scanner. If you don't goto download . com and search for AVG antivirus.

Good Luck.
