Bus drivers make good money. How about sales? My friend making $50,000 a year selling furniture. It has a base salary plus commission.

Construction trades can be very good jobs - decent pay and good job availability. You don't go to formal school for them, but would need training as an apprentice to get into the trade.

I agree wholeheartedly with the Top Contributor's response: it's the apprenticeship that pay off in the long run. And lest we forget, do you have an insider track, say, your father owns a company in which you could well fit in.
