It always happens to me on vacation. It will be pitch black and I'll imagine I'm in my bedroom when I'm really in a hotel.

You know now that you mention this,it has happen to me a ways back,and I woke up in the hotel room and thought I was at home but then I couldn't find the bathroom and then I got real scared and realized I'm not at home,where am I,then it occurred to me that I was in Fort Worth,TX.

haha yeah.
I'll wake up in the middle of the night, pitch black. And I'll be in my bed, but I can't figure out where I am. Then I can never find a light to turn on, so I freak out.

I wake and think I am in the past somewhere, usually my children, when they we young, are around. They are all grown now with kids of there own.

Sometimes I wake up and forget who's laying next to me, even though it's my husband who I've been married to for 33 years. Now that's weird.
