You probably have a urinary tract infection (UTI), but it could be something more serious. SEE A DOCTOR. It is not normal to have blood in your urine.

Hi,
It sounds like you may have a kidney and/or urinary tract infection(UTI); however, you should see your doctor to have a urinalysis and possibly some bloodwork done to confirm this and/or to rule out any other problems. If it is a UTI/kidney infection, he/she will most likely prescribe an antibiotic to treat it. In the mean time, there is an over-the-counter(OTC) product you can buy called AZO that will relieve the burning sensation. You will usually find this near or around the pharmacy area-if you have trouble finding it just ask the pharmacist. He/she can help you find it. Again, you should still see your doctor. This stuff may help relieve the symptoms but it doesn't cure the infection! Good luck. Hope your feeling better soon.

Sounds like a UTI to me - that's a urinary tract infection. Very Common in females. I've had a couple in my lifetime. You had better get yourself to an E.R.. Ask them to run a blood sample and urine culture. If your white cell count is off the charts, they will start you on a general antibiotic until the culture comes in. If, in a couple days the culture shows that you require a different med, they will call you and put you on the correct course.
Some doctors don't want to prescribe until they get culture results. This can take 3 days. Believe me, you don't want to wait three days. You will have a continual, never-ending, 24/7 burning sensation that will begin to be relieved only after 24 hours on an antibiotic.
This is why, in this case, I would go to the E.R. instead of my doctor.

Sounds like a pretty bad uninary tract infection!! A simple urine test performed in your doctor's office can determine that. You simply pee in a cup and they will let you know. Or you could have an std or a really bad yeast infection. I would most definitely go to the doctor!! Don't wait because a bad urinary tract infection let go long enough can turn into a kidney infection and trust me you do not want that.

Sounds like you have a serious urinary infection. Get to the doctor right away,do not delay. Urinary infections (bladder infections) can be common among women, but when there is blood in the mix, you need to see a doc.
Meanwhile, drink lots of water: keep your fluid levels high.

It is probably a bladder infection, and if you are getting blood you will likely need antibiotics for it. go see a doctor.
meanwhile drink lots of water to dilute your pee so it does not burn as much and to flush your bladder. Cranberry juice is both antibiotic and soothing, so if you have some, or can get it, drink that.

It could be as simple as an irritation from soap used, but it could be much more serious. Urinary tract infection, yeast infection, certain STDs. That is just a short list of problems your symptoms could be. See a doctor and soon.
