It's only news if it is white on other racism; if it were sensationalized, the organized racists (NAACP, etc) would cry "racism!". Basically, it's a one way street.

Accusing a police officer of being racist is a far cry from drunkenly cursing an entire ethnic group and literally blaming them for all the world's wars and problems (Mel Gibson).

A far cry.

It was a ridiculous thing for her to say, no doubt, but the two are not comparable.


Edit: You'd be interested to know that I'm:

A. A journalist, and

B. Fairly politically conservative.

Shame that you jump to conclusions when people don't agree with you.
