I know of these little spineless animals called leeches. They actually drink blood like vampires, and fire hurts them like it hurts the undead, as well as some sorts of water, but not much other things hurt them. They are like senseless.
Therefore i'd say that vampires could have evolved from leeches (a sort of cross between humans and leeches) or possesed by leeches after death (because some microscopic animals indeed can invade the brain of snails and turn them into lures for carnivorous birds).

Vampires do exist, but not in the "I vant to suck your blud" kind of way. Have you ever known anybody who, after being in their presence for a period of time, leaves you feeling drained? That person is a psychic vampire. They feed off your energy to supliment their own. Usually they are hyperkenetic people, because of the excess energy they have siphoned off of others. Most vampires don't do it intentionally, or are even aware that's what they do. However, there are those who have developed the skill. Beware, they are truly dangerous people, without the proper protection.

vampires come from people who had a form of blood disease called porphryia.... now it started because one type of porphryia made one sensitive to light and sometimes had face deformities and skin promblems.... now its rumoured that they drank blood... but some did hide out in caves to get away from the sun... another symptom of porphryia is enlarged teeth... where it is typical for a vampire... now this is where the legend came from people just added more myths to it...

I have never seen a real vampire take the time to give itself away... And I feel that it will be difficult to believe that a rotting corpse possessed by a demon that animates your body can type out a message.. A real vampire kills and that is all it will ever do until it is destroyed..........................................................

i have believed in vampires ever since i watched Buffy and realized that not all vampires are bad so i did not have to fear them like i do with ghosts!
