how do you think the world will end?

almost every century theres a new rumor or saying of the world ending or something...
when is it rele ending and how is it most likely to end?!?!?!?!?!?

While war may destroy civilization, and disease and whatnot could cause the exinction of Man, that is not the end of the world. By the time the world ends, we will all be dead. People are just another phase in the evolution of the earth. All species eventually die out, as did the mamoths, and all types of dinosaur. Every 30 million years, our planet travels through the densest layer of the Milky Way, where it is hit with larger meteors and the danger becomes much more severe. This area could well end our race, but the Earth will most likely end when it is burned and engulfed by the dying sun, which will not be taking place for billions of years, or possibly our solar system may drif too closely to a black hole, where the entire system would be torn into shreds. Whatever way the earth goes, it will seem much more natural to us, as we would not be pulled into the black hole or see the sun coming at us. The earth would get very hot, and we would all die before the earth is swallowed, and if it is struck by a meteor, smashing it into oblivion, then the simple lifeforms could still survive, and perhaps begin anew.

Until then, just think regional conflicts, wars between rump states, proxy wars and brinksmanship. If you recall the Yom Kippur War in 1973, a coalition of Arab States (Egypt, Syria and Jordan) were soundly defeated by the Israelis. That was a worse situation than the current conflict and it didn't raise a blip on the world war radar (not that it didn't have the potential to spark a global war).

The next World War will involve a nuclear exchange, how could it not. In the first 30 minutes, nearly a billion people will have been vaporised, mostly in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan. Another 1.5 billion will die shortly thereafter from radiation poisoning. The northern hemisphere will be plunged into prolonged agony and barbarity.

Eventually the nuclear winter will spread to the southern hemisphere and all plant life will die. You ask when is the apacolypse, you are asking when will we commit global suicide. My answer is it won't happen soon because the larger superpowers are more rational than the rump states in the middle east.

Our biggest risk is an accidental launch of nukes by one of the nuclear powers.

It will have a slow death, first the ozone layer will deplete affecting all living beings, second the global warming will melt the poles and glaciers playing havoc on land weather vegitation and humans, third the oxygen -nitrogen -carbon dioxide cyclic balance will be affected there will be excess of nitrogen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere-killing the remaining of the vegitation and humans, the surface temperatures will rise causing the moisture to evaporate and turning the lands into deserts, fourthly and gradually the surface winds will rise causing the water front to start depleting , more and more of the vater leaving the earth into stretosphere and into the space., and with the entry of the fifth stage the BLUE hue of this palnet called earth will change into red and it will become the second mars , or junior mars circling the sun.

This is how Mars planet died and that is how the earth will die UNLESS YOU AND ME GET TOGETHER AND STOP THE GLOBAL WARMING TO SAVE THE EARTH FROM DYING.

Sorry but I am going a step ahead of your question and expect the yahoo community to help to retard the death of our planet. Like the strength of a chain is the strength of its one link and that link is you and me. Let "you and me" start a movement to save this planet.

What to do? Here are some points;

1. Drive when you must.
2.use legs
3. Use bicycle as much as possible.
4. Use warm cloths in winter instead of heating the house.
5. Redesign the house and cloths for summer use instead of cooling the house.
6. Descard fridge or minimise its use. Believe in fresh and eat fresh.
7. Minimise use of paper and what ever you use recycle it..
8. Go back to nature, love it and protect it
9. Reduce family size, one couple one child, For every other child plant 100 tress and make sure they live and grow as your child grows.
10.Each member of the fmily must plant protect and groom ten trees to get civic ameneties from the government like fresh water electricity and transport.
11. Minimise use of plastics. Each community/society responsible for desposal destruction of its wastes. All the resourses required for such actions must be paid by the people who created it.

This is MY LIST add your list to it and implement it.

Remember if you love your children and their children and for the generations to come , please creat a better world for them , better that yours' and mins'

If it's not going to end by an atomic bomb then i think we're gonna burn to dead. That's right--burn. I figure that since we already had an ice age, fire is about to come about some time. With all this talk about global warming, the earth's gotta be ending in some type of fiery heat.

or....

Maybe scientist and NASA will find out a way to escape our fiery fate and move everyone to Mars! And if the world had to end on Mars it would be due to a lack of oxygen.

The white horse of peace. when they shall say peace and safety sudden destruction shall come upon them unaware. and by peace he shall destroy many.. he shall enter peacably upon the fattest of the provinces and by peace shall destroy many. The red horse which is murder. anyone that does not conform to the system of world peace upon the world will be considered a rebel and a heretic. and it will be a death sentence at that time. and then the black horse will come and he is carrying the balances and it's a measurement. food is rashioned because of a great famine. and then anyone who doesn't have a part of that system will be killed regardless of rank or status. and what the famine does not kill the ruler will. and then the last horse which is the pale horse and we finally see the one that has been riding all four horses and it says his name is Death. and it says hell is behind him. and whatever that is remaining after the shaking of the earth in the form of the first three horses will be brought to hell at this last horse... whoever is not found in the book of life written from the foundation of the earth. god's grand design. that's in revelation 13:8. as far as when this will happen... the white horse is carrying a bow with no arrows. it is peace and disarmnament. when you see this sort of system coming upon the earth. there's not much time left.

Depends on what you mean by world. If you mean the world of man. Maybe never. It will only change.
If you mean the world , physically. Technically, it could be tomorrow. But more likely, some years in the future, if we are to be taken out by a large comet or asteroid. Otherwise, it will be the heat death of the sun that takes us out about a billion years or so from now.

I believe greed will be the end of this world everyone lets money rule every thing. I honestly believe greed will be it. I heard once on the radio a preacher believed it would be mice cause they carried all kinds of diseases and they could go any where. Who knows. God will deside how it ends no one else.

I think it'll happen in our lifetimes. I imagine we'll be erased by a virus, a biological weapon of some kind. Hopefully it'll wipe out the primates too, so there could be no hope of them evolving into people. I can't wait, personally. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
