i am a christian, who does not believe in ghosts.. but i sometimes have very vivid dreams of a loved one who committed suicide. lucid dreaming is what it is called.. where you are dreaming and aware that you are dreaming.

anyways, i dream of him often..and we talk and catch up... but in the last dream he and i were both dead and he told me i needed to get a ouija board so we could "talk". i am totally against ouija boards and communicating via that way..i believe there are only demonic spirits that will be there answering your ?'s

is this just a dream, a demonic spirit trying to influence me, or is it my friend??

i can not pass judgement on him for committing suicide, i do not know his heart and whether or not he knew Jesus as his savior. just bc i am christian does not mean that i believe suicides go to hell.. i don't know what happens to them. i would love to believe that brett is in heaven, but i don't know.

and no i do not plan on using a ouija board. i don't believe in ghosts..it says in the bible that when you close your eyes in death you are with the Lord (assuming you are saved) there is no refrence that i recall of any "ghosts" but i DO believe in the holy ghost, spirit.. for that is God

My father-in-law is a Christian man and he said that his daughter called him on the phone not long after she died.

You believe in demonic spirits, but not ghosts? Hmmm. I am a Christian and I believe in the Holy Ghost. So, I believe in ghosts and demons. I do think that the dead communicate with us through our dreams. Enjoy the dreams, be grateful for the dreams, but veer away from Ouija boards. If you ask to talk to your relative you might get someone else. Just my opinion....

I'm not Christian, but I don't believe in ouija boards either. And I don't believe spirits talk to people through dreams. Also, if you are Christian, doesn't that mean that you believe your friend went to Hell because he comitted suicide? I didn't think those people could communicate with us.

I think that dreams are a very complex area, and i dont believe anyone can claim to really understand them 100%. however, to answer your question, i do believe that relatives/loved ones can coomunicate to you through dreams. But one the other hand, the fact that he told you to communicate to you through something you are against, MIGHT be your inner self making that up, maybe it isnt really him saying do this, it might just be your subconcious choosing the one thing you feel guilty about doing. As for the demonic spirits, im not really into all that. All i can say, is if there was a way for me to communicate to past loved ones, id stop at nothing to at least try.

i never had the experience of a deceased relative trying to talk to me in my dreams in which he/she knows of her/his state of death...but i had dreams before of having a normal or fun day with a relative...but i'm very sure that's just my subconcious mind creating a somewhat fake memory....and about you being told to get the "board", nah, that's probably your subconscious mind, too. although, i don't think you should use the "board"...who knows..what if something non-supernatural happens which you might interpret as a "demonic" sign...this would make you paranoid and is not good

I had a dream when I was 12 years old of my grandmother telling me not to worry, but that she was going to go where my grandaddy was. Two days later she passed away. It was such a real-like dream and I was totally creeped out when I heard she had passed away. After my mourning period, I felt that she was in good hands and that she was looking after me. I totally believe in God and that's why "toying" around with a Ouiji Board is only bad news. It is usually evil spirits who will try to contact you. They will try to fool you into believing they are past relatives and such, but please, please, do not mess around with the Ouija board. Only God knows what is in store for us and please rely on Him to guide you. Good Luck!

i believe you talked to your relative in your dreams. i wouldn't say you are bound to follow their instructions and get a ouija board, especially if that is something that makes you uncomfortable. i have visited a passed relative in my dreams, and i know of others who have as well. if any of them told me to get a ouija board, i'd say no.
