(x + 2)lg 4 = lg 200
x = (lg 200/lg 4) - 2
x = 1.821928095...

I believe the answer is 48 is for x. 48+2=50
4 raised to the 50th power is 200.

4^(x+2) = 200
x+2 = log 200 / log 4
x + 2 = 3.821928
x = 1.821928

(4^X)(4^2) = 200

(2^(2X))(2^4) = 200 = (2)(100)

2^(2X+3) = 100

LOG2 (2X + 3) = 2

LOG2 = 0.3

0.3(2X + 3) = 2

2X + 3 = 2 / 0.3

2X + 3 = 6.6

2X = 3.6

X = 1.8
