Inside the alternator.

The voltage regulator is in the alternator.

Yup, GM put 'em inside the alternator.

They should be built into the back of the alternator. It is an intregrated unit with Chevy.

Start the engine and place a volt meter on the battery positive and negitive terminals to see if it is properly chargeing 13.5 to 15 volts.If not replace alternator.If yes replace battery.

inside the alternator... screwed into the tail housing.
