Warning America we were at an increased risk? I watched fox news for 1.5 hours today, and almost an hour was spent on the increased risk of a terror attack. In fact they were the ONLY cable news program to show the color coded terror alert level in the scroll at the bottom of the screen. And they did once every 2 minutes. Even as a conservative, i have never been a big fan of Fox, but does this go to show they get thier ratings from Americans that are so scared of arabs they will allow our government to do anything to make them feel safer? Did anyone else think this was exessive?

There was a car bomb attack foiled in London today. Some of us care more about that and the possibility of a coordinated attack here then we are about Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan's drinking problem.

Must I remind you that you needn't watch?

Fox is basically a shill for the Bush administration's obsession with its own interpretation of 'terrorism' - which, it should be pointed out, has been considerably broadened to include such dangerous things as people finding out the truth, people not supporting the war effort, people asking inconvenient questions, people not buying the emanations of the Oval Office...etc. Fox thumps the drum, pumps fear into the atmosphere, and is running an operation that Joseph Goebbels would be proud to own. Frightening the citizenry is a very obvious first step towards gaining control no matter what the Constitution says. Of course it's excessive - but to the incurious and inattentive, it sounds like facts.

The answerer above is basically right(Paris Hilton one.) No one likes watching Paris Hilton, they reported it because they are happy a ally that a had a possible terrorist attack foiled. Paris Hilton isn't everything.

It depends when you watched it. If the news had just broke it they would be covering it for at least a couple of hours nonstop.

Why were you watching Fox? Is it an obsession for you? I don't have to watch it because the Libs tell me all day long what is on.....

Karl Marx had it sort of wrong. Fear apparently is the Opiate of the asses.
