Ok, I was not very bright by hauling a transmition in the trunk of my Lincoln. A couple of quarts spilled on the carpet. How can I remove it from the carpet. Thank you for your time and answers.

First off you can soak most of it up by putting down quick dry clay or some plain clay cat litter and let it sit for a couple of days then vacuum it up. I would call a mechanic shop or the car dealer to see what tricks they might have, and you could also call the transmition fluid manufacturer as well. Do not put other chemicals on it so you do not sause a reaction. Good luck!
