No. I hate the smoke. It makes everything stink! Today I was at the doctor and I saw a woman with an oxygen tank and she reeked of cigarettes. Whenever I go somewhere smoky, I have to wash my clothes as soon as I get home because they smell so bad. I know a lot of people who smoke and they are always very irritable when they cant smoke like at work.
And then there is the cost. I am savings thousands of dollars by not smoking. Not to mention the health issues....

I used to smoke but that was occassinaly about 7-8 years back. Because i was not a habitual smoker i could give it up easily. Smoking is a bad addiction. Cigrattes conatin nictone which isnt exactly the best thing for your health. Its also contain Coumrain which in lay man's term is rat poison. Every Ciggy you take reduces your life by 5 minutes and no amount of pumping the iron will bring it back. Besides causing lung cancer, it also causes fatal heart diseases.

when I was 17 I got into a concussion-induced coma for a couple weeks.

while coming out of it, I was verbose and apparently bothered some of the people in the hospital ward

they gave me cigarettes and when it became "the first thing I remember"-time, I was playing chess and smoking cigarettes

weird but true

I smoked for 10 or 15 years and then quit for a year and a half

started up and smoked for 8 years

quit for 10 years

smoked for a year

quit for 2 years

smoked for a couple months now and wish I didn't but wish I did

it's NOT a rational thing ...

addictive, sure

I learned the habit in a hospital

not a simple thing

yes.

but average less than once a day. not addicted by any means.

i used to smoke an average of 5 cigarettes a day, but i stopped after i finished trying out all the locally available brands.

now i only smoke imported cigarettes. more frequently when i have some packs in my possession so that they don't get stale.

i smoke usually after meals, or when with friends.

i am strongly against smoking indoors, or around children. I think that if you are addicted to nicotine, you should stop. Cigarettes, when smoked frequently will certainly lead to your premature death.

No, my uncle and aunt smoked while I was growing up and the only thing I would hate about going to visit them was being around the cigarette smoke and smell. To me, it smelled bad and the smell stayed in your clothing and I didn't want to deal with that when I got older. Plus, I try to stay healthy, not smoking is just another part of that.

No. I used to, but I couldn't breathe when I did. It scared me that I couldn't breathe, so I stopped. Smoking is not a game. It's not even enjoyable at all. It's an ADDICTION, and a hard one at that. When you quit, you feel like you can't breathe even more. Once you've quit and a couple weeks have passed and your lungs have cleared, it feels so much better! You feel like you could jog a mile. Smoking is not cool, and I ain't saying that to be all weird and commercialish, I'm saying that from experience. It just plain SUCKS.

Smoke? Why even think about it...?

Smoking causes lung problems, blackens your lungs, and not to mention causes lung cancer. Some of my friends' parents smoke, and when I go to their house I can barely breathe. My friend is always sick or coughing because her parents smoke. Why would I make a horrible decision to get addicted to something that can only hurt me and the people around me?

Yes. I started when I went to the bar. First I'd bum off people then I'd buy my own packs so I wouldn't look like a bum. Then I became addicted. I smoke because of habit and an addiction to it. I've tried to quit but it's VERY hard.

No because most of my family smokes and they all try to encourage me not to. This reveals its addictive qualities and also the inconviences that occur due to it. Also, the obvious health problems that arise due to smoking (anything) are good enough reasons for me to stay away.
