Is he hurt? He's only going 6 every start, he's still better than most but he hasn't been great this year

He was never that great. Very overrated in my opinion.

Johan had a great start tonight. He has done fairly well as of late. Earlier in the season, he didn't have the run support and felt he had to do everything himself. I just think he tires out after a while because he tends to throw a lot of pitches (as most strikeout pitchers do). I don't think there is anything wrong with him.
He is 8th in the majors in ERA and 2nd in the majors in K's. That isn't bad. Of course, it isn't leading the majors in ERA's, K's, wins, and innings pitched like last season, but that was kind of a fluke season, even for a good pitcher like Santana.
Santana is not overrated and anyone that thinks so obviously hasn't looked at the numbers.

This my friend, is what you call "Twins Baseball"
The Twins hope that a pitcher can go 5-6 Innings, and then will switch to the best bullpen in baseball.
It's all how the Twins like to play.
And bostonpride07, I don't see how a 2-Time Cy Young winner can be overrated. Does anyone else see Santana overrated?

He is only allowed to go to a certain pitch count so once he passes that then they get him out of there hoping to prevent injuries.
