I don't really need it, but I desperately want the iPhone. I'm hoping that if i don't get the internet, it would be less expensive.

sure go get the iphone without the internet and u will be simply buying a $600.00 ipod 8 gigs at that come on use your head.

Sorry but the lowest plan for the iphone will be $59.99 and that includes 450 anytime minutes and unlimited internet usage as well as 200 text messaging. They will not sell any lower plans without the internet.

Now what's the fun of it without the internet? Well there aren't any other options, so if you're going to get it there's going to be the internet on it.

Nope same price, and new 2 year contract required at a minimum of almost $2000 just for the plan

this will not effect the price; you will simply pay for NOT using the internet. the iphone itself is $499-$599 regardless, and the plans include the internet (they start at $59.99)
