I can see how a liberal would think that by not allowing a woman to choose whether or not to give birth to their child, you are somehow taking a right to CHOOSE from her. But didn't she have the right to CHOOSE whether or not to have sex and with whom she would have sex with? Do liberals think that women are too dumb or too weak minded to make that kind of decision? Isn't their stance the more degrading to women?

The question is pointless. Abortion is a non issue. The morning after pill makes it a non issue. That pill will be sold and teens will get it on the black market. Republicans are investing in that pill now. It is also true that Republican Doctors made lots of cash from Abortion in the past. If anyone wants one they will just go to Canada or Mexico and get it.. You and Congress can not legislate a moral lifestyle.. It is also somewhat of a contradiction that you find "choice" for a Woman degrading. I find it to be a part of liberty and Women have that right to Liberty.. Why is it that you think White, Male Americans in Congress should take that liberty away from Women?

It's ludicrous for you to apply the conservative way of thinking. Is documented that antiabortion conservatives are the ones that thinks that women don't have the brunt to make any decision on their own. They are the ones screaming to the top of their lungs , that women should stay at home, "barefooted and pregnant".

Not in the instance of rape.
This shows you why the idea that her choice to have sex shouldn't matter - because if it did, you'd have to say that rape was an exception. In other words, it would be okay to murder a child if the mother was raped. You don't believe that do you? So stop bringing up the choice to have sex. The choice to have sex is none of your business whether or not the choice to have an abortion is your business.

It all boils down to murder. If I kill a pregnant women I will and should be charged for two murders. Why should the law be different if a woman is inconvenient?
