Dear Answerers...,
I am going to Disney World on Sunday, and my dad loves to golf. We are starting to pack, and he can't decide if he should bring his golf-clubs with him. I tried looking on the website if there was a golf course, but then again, I suck at finding things. I only found minature golf. Is there a golf course somewhere at Disney World? We are not renting a car, so he won't be able to leave the park, if he'd like to go golfing. We'd like to find him a golf course to make daddy happy. Can you help?

Sincerely,
Angel, Niko, and Sammy T.

There are actually several golf courses at Disney:

Eagle Pines
Osprey Ridge
Lake Buena Vista
Palm
Magnolia

There is also Oak Trail, but it tends to be more popular with families.

Since you are staying onsite your dad can get to and from the golf courses for no extra charge. However, unlike most things at Disney, there won't be a bus taking him to the golf course, he will take a taxi. Just go to the valet desk or bell service and they can call to get a taxi for him. Then, when he is done the golf operations staff or Pro Shop can get him a taxi back.

If your dad decides he doesn't want to bring all his own things, he can rent them at the courses as well.

Disney has some really great courses and I think he will really enjoy them.

I will include a link for you with all of the information about golfing at Disney, it should pretty much answer all your questions, as well as his. You can also book a tee time (being over a holiday, you may want to suggest that he reserve a tee time, never know if they will run out) and everything like that, definitely worth checking out.

Hope this helps!

Have a great time!

I believe the phone number he should call to schedule his tee times is 407-939-golf. There are some fabulous courses located on Disney property and a couple of them have won some major awards within the golfing community. Tell him to take his clubs and spend a day or two enjoying himself! :)
