i hav a 5 gal tank nd was wundering if i can put a SMALL clown fishy and a SMALL royal garmma

I would go with the very small percula clown but not the royal gramma. The gramma can be aggressive and close quarters may aggravate him even more. 5 gallons is pretty small even for a nano-reef tank. If you have any water quality issues, the whole tank could end up as junk.

NO! 5 gallons is too small for most freshwater fish, saltwater fish need even more room, if you are doing a nano reef, try something bigger like 10 gallons. And I still don't think that's big enough for the Clownfish. Don't try it, you will likely end up killing everything unless you are extremely experienced with saltwater fish.

I think clown fish need a minimum of 30 gallons. They're used to swimming in deep, open waters.

You should be alright.. I would add the clown first and try to get them around the same size..

i think that would be too small. But give it a try...if they die then you'll know
