Yes indeed I believe in psychic powers. At the age of 9 I knew there was something different about me. I had a Grandmother that I adored. She was sick in the hospital and I was told she was going to just fine and not to worry. I looked at both of my parents and told them she was never coming home again because she was going to die.
I was in school not long afer this and at 9:30 a.m. I started to cry and told my teacher that I had to go because my grandmother had died. She took me down to the office to see if there had been any calls that had come in for to go home. There were no calls. So, I had to finish the day out in school when I knew I should be at home.
Finally the time came that I could run as fast as I could for home. I opened the door and saw my mother dusting and her usual routine and was not upset or as I felt was putting on a good show. Well, anyways I got mad at her as I told her about Grandma dying at 9:30 this morning and no one let me know. My mom's response to that was " Sherry how could you say a thing like that" I just went into my bedroom and cried into my pillow until my dad got home and he had my grandpa with him.
He brought my brother David into my room and sat down on my bed holding David in his lap. He told us both that my grandmother had died at 9:30 this morning and that she was at peace now and in God's Hands now but that she will never stop loving us.
At age 17 I was sitting in a booth with my best friend and we had skipped school that day and all of a sudden at 11:10 I had the most crushing pain in my chest going down my left arm and a hard time breathing. I told my best friend what was happening to me and she said she would get help for me. I told her No and that I had to get home now, so she took me and I ran into the house and told my mom that dad had a heart attack at 11:10 and she had not gotten any calls saying that. Finally after 6 hours of sheer terror the hospital called my mom and told her about my dad. This to happened at the same time as I had said about my grandmother.
I have things that I have dreamt the night before and I warn the ones involved in the dream and what was going to happen to them. Of course it was just laughed off to and over active imagination. Well, they found out I was telling the truth and listened to me when I saw something that was to happen the next day.
I can tell someone not to go down a certain road that day as there was going to be a terrible car crash and it happened. I told someone who I was riding with that we were going to have a flat tire and it will happen at the scene of the car crash. I tried so hard to shut out what I saw about anyone because for me for awhile it was happening everyday and it was getting to me.
I have found out that no matter what I try to do to shut out things I cannot get away from it.
I have so many more things I could share that I have seen and heard.
I did like the question though as it made it more real for me to see all this crap in black and white. I have been told so many times from people who are close to me and from at least 5 priests who say the same thing, that I have a gift. I tell my friends that it'slike my knower knows.

Yes I do believe in psychic abilities, because I have them and I also see a psychic when I get stuck on a topic like what my dreams mean. She is so helpful and I hope I am helpful to other people too. This sure helps me to live my life with more insight and wisdom!

I'll tell, but if a person doesn't want to believe, they won't. If a person wants to, they will.
I can meet anyone and if they give me something they wear all the time I can tell them things about them I don't know.
I can tell how a person is feeling if I get close to them.
I can heal pain if allowed to.
One time a friend came to see me. I don't do readings on friends, I know them too well to do so clearly. But as I hugged him good-bye, I heard, Just like it was being said right next to my ear, "He has cancer." Now, I had already made it clear that I did not want premonitions of sickness that could not be healed. I only want to know while there is still time to cure. To make a long story short, my friend did not believe me. He still had time to be treated, and survive. He died of cancer, in his back, right where my hands were, a couple years later. It still hurts very deeply that I could not convince him that I knew, I knew. he did not have to die in the horrible way that he did.
There's one of my stories.
of course I believe in psychic abilities. They are as natural as breathing. It's just that some of us have more because we need more for us to fulfill our destiny.

Blessed Be

Yeah but it is a gift from our own efforts and of God, I can seem to tap into it a bit but the whole capabilities of it is enigmatic. I have always seemed to be able to sense when others are approaching me when the conditions are right. Sometimes even my friends get these feeling of psychic powers since I mentioned my own experiences.

*Edit*

I have also had dreams which I had premonitions of a future problem, almost got sent to jail because this girl wanted to get out of the trouble she got herself into and I had a dream with her in it and I had a "bad" feeling about the dream a day or so before.

I have had dreams that are so life like and so strong. I have told people or the person I was dreaming about what happened to them and then a few days later it would happen, not exactly like the dream but basically the same outcome.. for example I had a dream a friend lost her baby.. few days later she had a miscarriage.. same with someone else in a car wreck... and many others also... I haven't had one of these dreams in a very long time and I am glad that I haven't.

I believe in psychic powers, because I have them.
I have precognition.

Here's my story:

I had been having problems with my friend, she wasn't speaking to me or our other friend in our little clique. She ignored us for three days and then on the third dy I had a dream. In my dream, I was with my angry friend and we were just having a friendly conversation. In the midddle of the conversation I ask, "So, we're friends again, but what about you and Taylor(our other friend she was mad at)?" She responded with "I would be her friend, however I do not feel that she is being sincere in her apologies."

The next day at the end of school, I ran into her in the bathroom. We worked out the problem and then I asked, "So, we're friends again, but what about you and Taylor?"

She said, "I would be her friend, however I do not feel that she is being sincere in her apologies."

Cool huh??

I also tend to know things, not like the future, but who is on the phone and certain things about people's personal lives which I have never been told.

It's too bad there are so many charlatans out there who give psychic phenomena a bad name. Aside from that, I do believe in them. There's a good measure of documentation on it and the police go as far as to hire psychics to help them solve crimes.

Everyone is born Psychic "Powers or Senses" what ever you feel comfortable calling then some people choose to enhance then and others just shut them down. You can run however you will not hide from what is meant to be : )

Senses are

Sight: Eyes "Clairvoyance" Spiritual Body "Eye" (called the Third Eye)
Sound: Ears "Clairaudience" Spiritual Body "Ear"
Touch: Skin "Clairsentience" Spiritual Body "Skin"
Taste: Tongue/Nose "Clairlinguance" Spiritual Body "Tongue"
Smell: Nose "Clairolerance" Spiritual Body "Nose"
*Know: Brain "Claircognizance" Spiritual Body "Mind"

Clairaudience - Intuitive
This is a person who will pick up a thought and hear it. This persons mental or intellectual understanding is very important and they can make good leaders. We all know someone that we would say was a mental person, always having to understand mentally. They carefully think things through. If this person were to become enlightened they would have the ability to become a medium, someone who channels information from entities who have passed over, because their most heightened sensitivity is to hear.

Clairvoyance- Visionary
This is a person who will pick up a thought and see it. This person has the ability to transform a thought into a vision, symbol or in colour by using their mind's eye. If an artist, a decorator, a creative person, someone who mainly uses the right side of their brain were to become enlightened they would have the ability to read auras, our chakras, draw guides and this is how they would channel what they received because the ability to see images is their most heightened sensitivity.

Clairsentience - Prophetic (1)
This is a person who will pick up a thought and just knows it. This person is sensitive to precognition and has hunches, dreams and knowings and this person usually deals with the future or present and how it will affect another. If you were to meet an enlightened Prophetic you would be able to get some information about your 'line of probability', tomorrow is not set in time remember. This could be a person who has a dream about something and that dream turns out to happen in reality. They have the ability of prediction because they 'just know' and can tune into and understand their hunches.

Clairsentience - Feeler (2)
This is a person who will pick up a thought and transform it immediately into a feeling. This persons life can revolve around how it feels to them. Their sense of touch is well-developed and they have the ability to know people by feeling what they feel. After enlightenment, this is someone would have the ability to practice psychometry. The ability to put something belonging to someone in their hand and read the energy. Depending on their other gifts, they could tell the past, present or future from the energy. They have the ability to feel how others feel but only on the emotional level. They will be able to not only empathise but experience their pain, loss, grief etc. For instance, if they were to channel energy from a persons past life they would experience the pain and hurt that that soul experienced in that past lifetime.

Clairgustance - Taste
Clairgustance is being aware of tastes without putting anything physically in the mouth. To perceive the essence of a substance through taste from the spiritual or ethereal realms. The sensation of what one is tasting is often linked to a spirit on the other side.

Claircognizance
The sense of knowing through our brain, even though it is not a physical sense, simply because it has a corresponding metaphysical sense known as claircognizance, or knowing without knowing how you know.

Clairolerance - The Smell
The sense of Smelling different fragrances from Spirits to find that earthly connection, strong odours you can't escape and can't explain a reason for eg: Cooking odours, Perfumes, Perfumes, Cigars or Cigarettes, Flowers, Extra. The characteristic essence linked to a spirit on the other side.

Psychometry
Psychometry is another form of psychic divination using the sense of touch to get mental impression linked to it. Psychometric impressions may come in the form of emotions, sounds, scents, tastes or images. The visions can appear is single flat images, much like a photo, or as animations. As we exist in an electromagnetic energy reality, metal objects often work best.

Nothing in life is to be feared, It is only to be understood.

Love & Blessings

I like having scientific proof of things before fully believing. However I have had wierd coincidences where I would be thinking of something or someone randomly and then oddly enough whatever I was thinking would happen later, or I'd run into the person I was thinking of.
