Several generations of being raised via 60s psychobabble written by self proclaimed experts has left the family unit a total mess. The weaker people that could make it through life with the family support structures now have nothing but witch doctors (psychiatrists, etc) and government agencies to turn to so have reached the breaking point.

I have no clue! It is so sad to turn on the TV and see that yet another mother and unborn child where murdered by the husband/father.
But i would not say that it is "American families" its just a select few that has just so happend all around the same time. Most families are happy to welcome a new baby.

I know! It's shocking isn't it. Fathers killing mothers and children AND women killing fathers and children.
What's more shocking is that so many women get away with it while the guys end up in jail for life.

The following sites about female criminals might be of interest.

Your question seems to implicate all men and that's not right. An investigation of the available literature shows that women have committed their share of heinous crimes. So let's get rid of the holier-than-thou attitude.

Edit:
I get thumbs down for pointing out the question is reverse sexism? Interesting! We have a duty to protect human rights and men are human too, at least I thought they were, unless perhaps it's no longer PC to regard them as such.

It isn't any more prevalent than it used to be.

You just hear about it more often and in greater detail because many news outlets latch on to this sort of sensationalist story and beat it to death.
