I purchased my new tank 2day. When can I add Zebra Danios(cycling fish) to my tank. I am not interested in fishless cycling cuz I want life in my aquarium right away.

You can add them as soon as you have the tank and equipment wet up and running, know the tank doesn't leak and have the temperature in the right range.

I would however ask you to think abut fishless cycling, it's far better and your patience will be rewarded.

If you are in that big of a hurry, aquariums might not be for you, patience is required much of the time.

An empty tank can look pretty boring. Once you set up your tank with all the decorations, heater, filter and have it full of water that has been treated, you can add your Danios. Oh, and those are the best fish you can choose to cycle a new tank. Be sure to only add a couple of them till your tank is fully cycled.

In that case, rinse all the parts and the substrate well in warm water (especially if you are using carbon filtration). You can use a strainer to help rinse the substrate. Condition the water and give it about 15 minutes to complete the reaction. I'm sure you already know to float your bags of fish for 10-15 minutes for acclimation, so do that and you're done! You may want to add Slime Coat since you aren't letting it run. Here is what I'm talking about: http://www.petco.com/product/2896/Aquarium-Pharmaceuticals-Stress-Coat-Aquarium-Water-Conditioner.aspx
