A bus will cost $60-70 one way without discounts. ($120-140 round-trip)

By comparison, the cheapest round-trip airfares would usually be $180-200.

Unless you need to be there on a particular day, a less expensive alternative would be to find someone who is driving to Jacksonville and offer to split the cost of gas and buy him lunch. You'd get there in half the time and at half the cost. Then plan on taking a bus back to Miami.

The above Greyhound prices are good......But also, you can take Southwest Airlines out of Fort Lauderdale, or American Eagle out of Miami......

I gather that you'd like someone else to do the driving; so, in all probability it would be by bus. Try greyhound.com.
