After living with someone for X amount of years.. You get used to people being there, used to certain things which you would have at one time never expected. Basically, you can get sick of the same old thing same old people day in and day out. Routines are sickly in many cases! but in all honesty, there are times parents will disregard their childrens good qualities and emphasize their bad qualities because they are partially used to the good and sorta expect it to naturally occur.
If you have otherwise had a recent graduation from college/highschool, not had a job in a while, they might want to encourage you to get away from home.. learn to be on your own, and start working.
If you have habbits which they don't particularly carefore, they may be noticing them more and are trying to act out in a way to get you to change those things.
Lastly, 'cristian' is doing something that needs attention, or elicits attention more so from your parents.
Parents seem to have trends of focus on their children. One could be having something big happen in their life, and all the attention goes towards them. For example, mike's science project wins him 100000000$ well, obviously mike's project and what he's doing etc might overshadow something you're currently doing. Yet, one thing we forget and yet shouldn't be forgotten is that parents love their children a lot, and couldn't really choose between them if they had to. Parenting is really hard work and there are no 'how to be a good parent' courses/books/lessons that they are given. They're just trying to do the best that they can do and they want to know they're doing a good job. I say, don't retaliate from the lack of attention but strive to aquire it with achievment and love. They will find THAT most rewarding. Good-luck whatever you do. :)

UHHH....are you meaning Christianity?? If that's the case, I think the best way to show your family members how important they are to you is to be a Christian, to pray for your loved ones and to follow the things Jesus taught us when he walked this earth.

lol maybe because they are really into it. if they like it and you don't then just tell them ( not in a rude way! ) but just tell them how you feel, everyone has a voice so just use it!
