They don't really look like anything much, unless the person is allergic, in which case you may see a blister. If you're wondering if you've been stung, then you haven't. Wasp stings (they're not "bites," btw) are PAINFUL - I've gotten stung, so I speak from experience.

I never been bit by a wasp, I have been stung. It hurts! Most times it just a red local swelling. If, a person is allergic they swell a lot. I have a woman friend and she has to keep a shot kit for when she get stung as it could kill her. I think it called; "anaphylactic shock".
