1. Blown fuse
2. Busted or worn switch
3. Flasher unit worn out
4. Poor connection between switch and rest of wiring
5. Bad earth connection at bulb
6. Blown bulbs

I have had 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 in different cars. I have never had a flasher unit wear out.

More info needed. Do you have no light at all? Is it just one side? Does it just stay on?
If there is no light it's probably a fuse.
If it's just one side it's probably a bulb.
If the turn indicator on the dash stays on it's a bulb for sure.
Usually if the flasher goes out it will make the lights blink very fast right before it dies.

Check the fuses first. You can find where they are in your owner's manual. If replacing that doesn't solve the problem, then it could be a series of other issues.

Could be one of those darned bulbs too. Both that and fuses are cheap and easy to change yourself.

It sounds like a blown fuse, no big of a deal.

The flasher has failed. See your manual for where it is, pull the old one out and push in the new one.
