I don't feel like my life is over. I have lot of living left to do.
It is time for me to let go of the past and start letting myself live again. I was the only one holding me back.

I'm not 50 yet, but heading in that direction. No, life isn't over by any means. I completely agree with what you are saying. I feel the same way, and it's time I do the same. Sometimes no one can help us by ourselves. Things are going to get better.

No as a matter of fact I'm 52 and have found I have more energy and stamina now than I had at 25. I wish I felt this good and vibrant years ago. I don't think I'll peak now until I hit 90 or so. Keep that attitude and you can outlive the negative ones around you that say age makes a difference. Just ask my fiance she's 24 years younger than me.

I was telling some relatives (mostly "seniors") that I will be 50 in August! They were teasing me that I was still the baby in the room and that they were wishing they could go back to being 50! IT was too cute! We are just beginning to live and to enjoy our lives! We are at a time when our children are grown and having their own... we are becoming more independent and able to do things without calling a babysitter!
IT is our time to start living now, to gain new momentum, get a new hobby, rediscover ourselves! So... You Go Girl!!! :0)

Monday I will be 55.
Life is not over at 50.
except for a few occassional aches and pains,
I love being older.
I can say things at 55 that would have gotten me an azz whoopin at 30 !!!
