It depends on the culture you are referring to. In some cultures, a woman does need permission from her husband, father, or male guardian to do anything. She will also need a male chaperon to go in public.
However, in most cultures, women have the right to do what they want without anyone's permission, including her husbands.
The UN Declaration of Human Rights does state that all people are equal. That being said, if a man is able to do something without permission, so is a woman.

If my hubby wants to go out w/ the guys I'm like go but next weekend its my turn...lol
Who wants a relationship where you have to get permission. not me.. Now my kids are different they must get permission...

permission to wear or use his stuff i suppose like his car or computers eg if they are colleagues or friends. I do ask permission from men when i want to borrow something. Permision if you can come and visit him, come into his house he is after all a person too....

pffft! look i do believe that once a woman is married she should run stuff by her husband, but not something where whatever the man says goes. us women have our own mind and no man has to try to impose himself
