I understand that Bush has created lots of problems, and that he really hasn't done a great job, but i'v been raised to respect your authority (which he is to us). But do you think that only goes so far? I mean critizing him or protesting out on his front lawn only makes his job more stressful. But with that said, he really has done a crap job. So how do you think the American people are handeling him, and how do you think we should act towards him?

Thanks in advanced. =)

Joshua G? Most stupidest? Shouldn't it be just stupidest. I suppose the pot shouldn't call the kettle black.

Anyhow, Bush has turned his back on his base. He duped his base twice. I think he is a good, smart man. They don't let dunderheads fly fighter jets in the military, and he is the leader of the greatest country in the world. You don't accomplish these things by being stupid. As for what I think of his policies, there are many terrible ones.

George W. Bush is a son of a wealthy father whose wealthy friends in the oil industry became George W's first business partners and sources of business advice.

After some business ventures went sour, George W. decided to run for public office.

After being governor of Texas, some powerful people went to him with the proposition that he should run for the presidency and they would finance his political campaign.

The stolen election of 2000 was just the first installment of a series of curses that haven't stopped since.

A former drunk and cocaine user, he suddenly found religion and the rest is history.

The de facto president, Dick Cheney, has run this STEALTH PRESIDENCY from behind the scenes and the majority of us are just beginning to understand the grand deception in leadership that has been taking place during the last 7 years.

Originally given the task of finding a suitable running mate for George W. in 2000, STENT VADER claimed he could not find anyone suitable for the slot, but he himself was available for the position.

When George W. Bush said he could use Cheney's political experience, I'm sure he had no idea how completely Cheney would end up commandeering the office of the presidency.

Being raised to respect authority is one thing, but the right to dissent is a paramount right to exercise when our elected officials begin to demonstrate the destructive ineptitude that this president has demonstrated.

We have spent close to half a trillion dollars on this war in Iraq so far with no end in sight to the total dollar cost we will have to pay.

Our loss of credibility in the world is also a high cost we will pay well into the future.

This loss of credibility has occurred even with our friends and allies.

9/11 gave Bush what seemed to be an inexhaustable supply of political capital.

Somehow, he has found a way to squander every last bit of that political capital in an unbelievably short period of time.

In that sense and others, Bush is indeed a real piece of work!

Bush is one of America's worst presidents in its entire history. While I've found Bush himself to be a moderate, I've also found him to be rather stupid and easily controlled by far more reactionary people in his office. Chaney is the one who really runs the White House, not Bush. And the negatives that his presidency has produced are unforgivable. And on top of all this, Bush spends more time on vacation then he does working.

Respecting authority is important, but when it is stupid and lazy, and uses its authority for tyrannical purposes, it is not an authority that any freedom loving person should want.

Some things good... war on terror, tax cuts, economy
Some things so-so... The Iraq battle... could be fought better
Some things not good... Border Security and Immigration

There are other things in the good/bad split... Like many men he has good points and bad... some things I agree with some not. There have been better leaders and far worse. I think that over all he has done a fair job considering the attacks that the Left have been doing from the day he took office... That is inexcuseable.

The President has done an admirable job, overall. In my opinion, history will look back on the Bush presidency with an overall positive perspective. His handling of the September 11th attacks, the Medicare prescription drug program, the education bill (which is considered successful by many), are all outstanding accomplishments. He has had to put up with outlandish political attacks and constant attacks in the media. It's totally unfair, but his handling has been admirable.

I think he is amazing. Hands down, the best president in US history. He puts Abe Lincoln to shame!....................................

Wait, no............ Scratch that, he's more like the....well...worst president in United States' history, maybe even world history. He makes Hitler seem, i dont know, like a humanitarian.

Maybe he doesnt deserve all the **** he gets, but come on, he put himself in that position. He completely ignores everything logical, like ignoring the pre-war estimates and ignoring the Iraq War Groups tips for success. He started a war for quite literally no reason at all. He jeopardized the lives of thousands of United States military men and women, and on top of all of this, is embroiled in scandal after scandal on a constant basis. He is horrible as a president, and has almost single-handedly ruined the greatness that was America. We can only hope that the next president will do even a mediocre in the white house, because they cant really do worse than Bush.

Sorry to say, but that's my honest opinion. I am Republican, and I hate the man.

I agree the war is a mess, but if we leave now Iraq will be a breeding ground for terrorists. On the plus side the dow is at record highs, my taxes are lower, and my 401 k is at record highs. What else do people want?

George Bush was elected fairly following the election rules of the United States in as fair of elections as there have ever been.

That is why I have lost some respect for America.

I still love my country but I think I have to step up my participation in our government which is of, by, and for the people.

I lost all respect for him today. He went.....fishing. While his troop surge fails and the brave warriors doing the best they can continue to die in this mismanaged and PC war that can't be won by Bush. So I don't like him anymore. I'm a conservative btw.
