I'm starting eighth grade soon. I have blond hair, fair skin, and green eyes. I want to start wearing a little make-up. What do you think would look good on me, yet still natural?

I struggled with this too. And by watching other girl's mistakes, I did really well on my own face. Please do not go into eyeshadow. It is just so easy to get wrong, you should wait until you know what looks good with your skin.

If you also have blonde eyebrows or eyelashes, stay away from eyebrow pencil and mascara. It will just look weird. If you don't have blonde eyebrows, try a little mascara. This will show off your beautiful eyes. Black may be too harsh, so try a dark brown. If you have darker eyebrows, try a little eyebrow pencil if you want to balance with the mascara.

At this age, it is easiest and the most fun to play with lip color. For you, I might recommend a light peachy or strawberry color. If you have flawless skin, like Monroe or something, you might like to go red, but if you have lots of freckles, stick to lighter colors.

A little blush in the most natural looking shade possible, if you really want.

The key is to put as little on as possible, and to wear face sunblock daily, even in the winter, because clouds can't block harmful UV rays, and it could reflect off the snow, intensiying your chance of skin cell damage.

Tip: Don't try putting makeup on for the first time on picture day. Don't let your friend give you a make-up make-over. However good her makeup may look on her, her complexion, hair and eyes are flattered by certain make-up, while yours are flattered differently.

Well you don't want to wear too much, but a little eyeliner is good not too thick though keep it thin and i suggest either plain black or maybe go with an emerald green. Eyeshadow isnt a big deal in 8th grade so dont worry about if you really want to wear it use like a gold so it is real natural. Clear mascara is definitely best for u! For blush put it on the apple of your cheeks lightly and try a rose pink color. for lipstick just use a light pink gloss or keep it clear guys dont want red lipstick all over them if u kiss them.( or if ur doing a lot of kissing make sure u get a kind that doesnt wear off easily) Good luck hope you have it better than i did in 8th grade!
P.S. Also if u r gonna use like a foundation or concealer make sure it is "clean makeup" like no oil or acne producing stuff. trust the 10th grader it really ruins ur look if u have huge pimples from ur makeup.

All you need is a little lip color or lip gloss. With fair skin, it's best to keep it as simple as possible. And at 13, you definitely don't need anything on your eyes. I had a friend who developed a sty from eye makeup (mascara mostly) getting into her tear ducts. After that, she stopped wearing eye makeup and she looked so much more natural. As you get older, maybe a little powder to take off the shine but otherwise, save the makeup for special occasions. Don't let the teen magazines sell you stuff you don't need!!

Perhaps a little lipgloss and clear mascara to make your eyelashes look a little longer, if you must. If you have any blemishes to cover, put on a -very- little bit of foundation, remembering to rub it in well. If you ever wear foundation or any other face make-up, MAKE SURE to use make-up remover at the end of the night.

I think it'd be best to just use stuff like Oxy pads when you get pimples and make sure your skin stays fairly clear. A natural face looks a lot better.

omg so i'm going to eighth grade 2 and i wear [this is like my evryday stuff] colored non-shiny lip juice from loreal [i cant spell] then i put on clear lip gloss over that. then i put on eyeliner [but just on the outer corners of my eyes, otherwise its 2 noticable] it's black, but since u have green eyes try brown. then of course mascara. like everyone uses it so i think its fine. o yea and deff evryday make sure ur skin looks "even". u kno no blothes, blah, blah. its up 2 u what u use [stay away from foundation, it;s soo noticable] and when i'm feeling like dressing up more i use a LIGHT pink eyeshadow, u can barely notice it. and i knoe evryone;s like ur too young, but it's like all of a sudden evryone is using it. it might sound like a lot but this stuff isnt evn noticable, especially if u use it evryday, ppl think ur naturally THAT hot, lmao.

u shouldn't wear make up at all at that age, u should embrace ur youthful beauty while it lasts, but if u must wear make up, mabey just a little bit of blush, but a tone that is just one or two shades away from ur natural skin tone, and then lip gloss will always look good on a girl your age, go with a bright color, and go shoping with a friend and ask her for her opinion on the color, bright shades of lip gloss that accually look good can be hard to find, sorry for the long answer, but i hope it helps!!!!!!!!!

personally, i think you're too young....
but if it's okay with your parents...very little makeup. try some bronze and nude eyeshadows, medium brown eyeliner and clear or pink lipgloss. I would stay away from blush and stuff. Instead of foundation, try brushing on mineral powder or bronzer. Physicians choice brand makeup is good because it's hypoallergenic and won't break you out.

Go with a touch of pink or other light colored blush and clear mascara. Tinted lip gloss would be OK too.

if you have bad skin you should use the bare essentials kit from sephora. if you have good skin just use clean lash tint mascara by neutragena and lip gloss. once in a while you should use a little pink blush.
