What's the saddest movie you've ever seen?
I don't want a movie thats gory, or actiony.
I want a sad movie as in like A Walk to Remember or I Am Sam.
The Notebook wasn't that sad for me...
Any suggestions?
REMEMBER... not gory.. not actiony.
and it has to be well.. in English.. lol
it helps if you add what its sort of about...
I heard the Green Mile is good
but as a 15 year old GIRL what is a movie you'd recommend thats well... sad?
I like CHickFlicks... so if you know any chickflicks that are good to, I'd love to watch those to!

I'm sure you know the newer movies but if you like to check out oldies from the library:
Splendor in the Grass (Warren Beatty/Natalie Wood) early 60's
Romeo & Juliet (?Olivia DeHavilland?) late 60's
Charlie (Cliff Robertson) 60's?
Love Story (Ryan Oneal & Ali McGraw) early 70's
A Star is Born (Kris Kristopherson & Streisand) late 70's
Fried Green Tomatos (80's)
Sleepless in Seattle (Meg Ryan & Tom Hanks) early 90's
Simon Birch (Ashleigh Judd) late 90's

Steel Magnolia's
Has an excelent cast--Sally Field, Julia Roberts, Dean McDermott, Dolly Parton and a lot of other GREAT actresses.
It's about 6 friends in a small town. One of them (Dolly Parton) owns the beauty shop, and that's where they do all the gossiping. Sally Fields daughter (Julia Roberts) is a diabetic, and can't have children because of her kidneys.....but she gets married and has a child anyway....dispite what the doctors tell her about the risks.
Anyway.....it is very sad in the end....and parts throughout the movie. But, it is also very funny too. One minute your laughing so hard your guts hurt, and the next minute your bawling.....it's really a great movie.

That's really hard, because the saddest gory movie I thought was like The Patriot or Tears of the Sun, but I guess the saddest movie was probably Pursuit of Happyness, because Will Smith is such a good actor, and it makes you feel really bad that they're thrown out of their home, and his son made me cry, like when they got on the bus and he lost his toy. You should definitely watch it, its one of my favorite movies!! But it's still sad. Lol.

ok, i'm not a 15 year old girl, so i don't cry at many movies.
where the red fern grows, and old yeller are the only movies i've ever cried at.
and they're both in english, and where the red fern grows is a love story as well.
have you ever seen rain man? dustin hoffman plays an autistic-savant and tom cruise(before insanity) is his younger brother.
