i ask this question b/c everyone is upset by the j-rich trade, which i think the warriors benefitted from, although they traded one of my favorite warriors. But in wright, they get a player who is definetly better offensively than biedrens and is probably just as good defensively already, averaged 2 blocks a game, playing only 20 min a game.

I'm not sure if he is better now, but he certainly has the potential to be a lot better. Wright is already better on the offensive end, and if he actually tries for more than 20 minutes per game he could be a better rebounder. Plus, he fits Golden State's system better. I like the risk Chris Mullin is taking on Wright because it is calculated, whereas going after Yi Jianlian might have been on a whim.

Not yet but give Brandon Wright 1 or 2 years and he will be ten times better than Biedrens ever was.

Not yet, but I think he will turn out to be a bit better than Andris Biedrens.

Biedrins right now is the better player they'll let Wright develop they don't need to rush into anything since they'll likely keep Jackson, Barnes, and Pietrus. So, eventually once Wright develops they'll be fine with him, but Biedrins will have a huge year next year.

Not yet, I think he was picked purely on potential.
